A new silicon-based adhesive from DowDuPont can be worn comfortably on the skin for an extended period of time.
The adhesive, called DOW CORNING MG 7-1020 Soft Skin Adhesive, eschews typical acrylic adhesives in favor of silicon, which is more comfortable to remove and reposition. Designed with today's biomedical devices in mind, the MG 7-1020 adhesive can be used with an array of products, holding materials like medical tapes and attachments for devices securely in place for up to a week.
