Draumr Hammock Lies Flat, Transforms to a Chair

Jun-10-14 Designed to allow the user to sleep almost completely flat, the Draumr hammock from Amok Equipment can also be used as camp chair.

The Draumr hammock is equipped with side-straps that spread it wide enough to slip a sleeping pad into an inside pocket. The pad not only helps to keep the hammock flat, it also helps conserve body heat during cold weather use. The hammock can also be formed into a seated recliner with just a few simple adjustments, allowing it to function as a camp chair as well as a bed. Other useful features include a cup holder, a foot box for resting the feet, integrated bug netting, and assorted pockets to store small items.

The Draumr is still in the prototype stage, but is already available for pre-order.
