Drip-Free Wine Bottle

Drip-Free Wine Bottle
Mar-23-17
An innovative new drip-free wine bottle design helps keep tablecloths clean.

The drip-free design was created by Daniel Perlman, a Brandeis University biophysicist with more than one hundred patents already. His newest invention, based on studies of how wine flows over the lip of the bottle, involves cutting a small groove around the bottle’s neck, just below the top. This groove prevents wine droplets from running down the outside of the bottle, causing them instead to follow the rest of the flow into the glass.
