Dynaero Shape-Shifting Biking Helmet

Dynaero Shape-Shifting Biking Helmet
Oct-28-19
Developed for serious cyclists, the Dynaero shape-shifting bike helmet will adjust its form automatically to suit the changing conditions.

The 3D-printed prototype Dynaero helmet was created by Dr. James Novak of Deakin University, who was looking to design a racing helmet that offered ventilation without sacrificing aerodynamics. The helmet communicates with sensors in a paired bike or smartphone via Bluetooth, which will trigger it to open or close its vents based on the temperature, speed or other variables.
