DynamX Stent Becomes Flexible in the Vessel

DynamX Stent Becomes Flexible in the Vessel
Nov-11-17
The innovative DynamX stent will become flexible within the body, allowing the blood vessel to move naturally.

Developed by Elixir Medical, the drug eluting DynamX stent initially functions similar to a standard, rigid stent. Over time, however, the flexible segments in the stent begin to degrade, releasing the antiproliferative drug Novolimus at the same time. This also causes the stent to become much more pliable, allowing the blood vessel to move more naturally while also reducing potential damage to the stent itself.
