Dyslexie Font Designed for Dyslexic Readers

Dyslexie Font Designed for Dyslexic Readers
Nov-18-14
Developed specifically for people with dyslexia, the Dyslexie Font makes it easier for readers to differentiate the different letters.

Created by Dutch designer and dyslexia-sufferer Christian Boer, the Dyslexie font is designed to ensure each letter has a unique form. The font incorporates alternating stick/tail lengths, larger-than-normal openings, a lower center of gravity and a semi-cursive slant to help emphasize the difference between similar letters and reduce the likelihood of a reader reversing a letter. Unlike traditional fonts that focus on aesthetics, the Dyslexie font is centered on making it easier for dyslexic readers to make out each letter.

The font is available for download and use in Office applications, and can be used in almost any other software program that lets the user choose fonts.
