The Echelon Circular was created for use during colorectal, gastric, and thoracic procedures, and features a “Gripping Surface Technology” that helps to reduce tissue damage. The slightly twisted design of the staples alters their grip, distributing the compression and reducing the risk of dangerous leaks, and the simple one-finger, push-button operation reduces the forces firing the staples by 97 percent and provides 37 percent less movement at the tip.
