The Eco Wave system from EWP builds on the company’s innovative wave harvesting system that has been in action for some years. To increase the efficiency of the operation, the team chose to add solar panels to the top of the floaters, which are already installed on existing surfaces. This design requires no extra land use while harvesting more energy, and the cooling waters around the panels also reduce energy loss from heat.
