Eco-Wave Power System Attaches to Existing Structures

Eco-Wave Power System Attaches to Existing Structures
Jan-11-12
The Eco Wave Power system is able to harness the energy of both low and high waves, producing energy more cheaply than coal-fired powered plants.

The system consists of an arrangement of float designs which can attach to existing structures such as bridges and breakwaters as well as floating platforms and bouys. The pair of floats, known as the Wave Clapper and Power Wing, work together to gather the maximum amount of energy from moving water. Integrated sensors will monitor the environments and allow the Eco Wave to be adjusted to prevent damage from storms.
