Elevo Kit Lifts the Palate to Reduce Snoring

Developed by Cook Medical and Zelegent, and recently receiving FDA clearance, the Elevo Kit aids in performing an ‘elevoplasty,’ a simple, in-office treatment that can be performed under local anesthesia. The tool is used to position sutures that lift the rear roof of the mouth (the soft palate) in order to increase the diameter of the airway, with just a few millimeters of lift enough to reduce snoring in a typical patient.
