Evermind Monitors the Elderly Via Appliances

Evermind Monitors the Elderly Via Appliances
Aug-27-14
The Evermind helps distant families keep tabs on their elderly parents by tracking their small appliance use.

Most people follow daily rituals, such as having coffee in the morning or watching a TV show before bed. The Evermind is designed to take advantage of these rituals by letting family members monitor appliance use throughout the day. The Evermind system consists of three sensors (for three different appliances) that are plugged into the wall outlet. The appliance, such as the coffeemaker, TV or bedside light, is then plugged into the Evermind sensor, which will relay information about the objects' use to a family member via its own built-in wireless internet.
