Fakro System Creates Affordable Balconies

Fakro System Creates Affordable Balconies
Jun-09-14
The unique new skylight system from Fakro can transform from a window to a small balcony, allowing homeowners to add a bit of extra air and space to a home without spending too much money.

The system is designed for use on pitched roofs, and is made up of two windows: one that opens forward from the bottom to form the balcony's front wall and the other that swings open from the top to provide extra head space. Two rails also slide out on either side to create guard rails, and the window panes are glazed for insulation and to help shade the sun's light.
