Developed by VivaLink, the small, lightweight thermometer is safe enough to use on infants as well as adults, and comes with eight disposable adhesive strips. Once in place, the Fever Scout will transmit its readings continuously to a paired smartphone, which are relayed through the device’s charging station. The Fever Scout app can also be set to trigger an alert if the patient’s temperature goes outside a specified range.
