Flipod Helps Prevent Bed Sores

Many non-ambulant patients must be rotated and shifted, even while they sleep, to prevent bed sores and improve breathing. To help ease this burden on the caretakers, the Flipbod rotates the patient via a system of self-inflating air bags that roll the person gently to one side. The Flipod’s “intuitive pulsation inflation sequence” also improves pulmonary functions and can provide extra muscle stimulation, and the air bags can be positioned to suit the individual needs of patients for optimal bed sore relief.
