Flower Power Pings Plants' Needs

Jan-08-13 With help from the Flower Power and its accompanying app, now even gardeners with slightly black thumbs can grow healthy plants.

Developed by Parrot, the Flower Power’s sensors track sunlight, humidity, temperature and fertilizer levels. When paired with the Parrot Cloud app for iOS, the device will send data via Bluetooth to notify the gardener about the plant’s changing needs. The app is programmed with information about the requirements of thousands of different plants, which allows it to respond specifically to each plant’s needs.
