The self-filling Fontus water bottle draws moisture from the air and condenses it to create drinkable water.
Developed by Kristof Retezár, the Fontus comes in two models—one that attaches to a bike and one for hikers. As the solar powered device draws in the outside air, it refills itself by via a small condensator and a series of hydrophobic layers that turn the water vapor into drinkable water. According to the developer, the Fontus can produce about 0.5 liters in an hour, in ideal conditions.
