FreeStyle Libre Measures Glucose with a Patch

FreeStyle Libre Measures Glucose with a Patch
Feb-07-16
Recently receiving CE Mark approval, the FreeStyle Libre flash glucose monitoring system replaces finger pricks with a patch, significantly improving both patient comfort and compliance.

Designed with kids from four to seventeen in mind, the FreeStyle Libre monitoring system is made up of a patch that attaches to the back of the upper arm to collect information on the wearer’s blood glucose levels. A small reader can then be held between 1 cm and 4 cm of the patch to capture the readings (it can be used over clothing), with each scan providing the last eight hours of glucose data. The FreeStyle Libre system is also water resistant, and designed to be worn while showering or exercising.

I am using Nightrider BluCon for the last three years, and the device is beyond outstanding. It helped me track my blood glucose level and alarms me whenever my readings are not within my target zone. It assisted me in moving towards a healthier lifestyle. Thank you, team Ambrosia for such a great device.
