Fugu Luggage Expands as Needed

Nov-24-14 The Fugu Luggage suitcase can expand from carry-on size to check-in size in minutes, making room for the souvenirs and mementos that tend to accumulate during travels.

The Fugu's expandable side walls are made from drop-stitch PVC material, which are inflated via its built-in pump. In minutes, it can extend from the maximum carry-on size of 40 L to the maximum check-in allowance of 120 L. The expanded Fugu can also double as a small table or closet (complete with removable shelves), and is reported to be sturdy enough to pass drop tests.
