Gatefeeder Helps Reduce Feline Bullying

In homes with more than one cat, chances are good that one of them is a Fat Cat—hogging the food and bullying the other cats away from the feeder. To give each cat a fair turn, the Gatefeeder system uses RFID tags attached to each cat’s collar. When a tagged cat touches its head to the feeder, the gate will open to allow it access to the food. Only one cat at a time can fit its head and shoulders into the feeder, which helps keep any greedy cats at bay. The Gatefeeder works with both dry and wet food, and features an ice pack that will keep wet food cool for up to ten hours.
