Golden-i Headset Leaves Paramedics' Hands Free

Golden-i Headset Leaves Paramedics' Hands Free
Nov-09-12
The Golden-i headset was designed to give first responders the ability to share and access patient date more easily, saving time and improving patient care.

Developed by Ikanos Consulting, the head-worn device features a camera and microphone. The Paramedic Pro applications are voice controlled, so the responder can look up patient records and enter new patient data by voice alone, and the camera provides direct video communication between the responder and medical staff, allowing the experts to assess the situation and give advice in real-time.

The Golden-i headset also lets the responder keep their hands free, transmitting and receiving important information while keeping to the immediate task of tending to the patient.
