Graphene-Embedded Smarter Bike Tires

Graphene-Embedded Smarter Bike Tires
Mar-10-16
With the help of a bit of graphene nanoplatelets added to the mix, the Graphene Plus bike tires from Vittoria offer higher performance by altering automatically to suit the road.

The Morsa and Mezcal tires are made up of a combination of the company’s rubber and two to eight inch thick graphene nanoplatletes. The result is a rubber mountain and road bike tire that will adjust according to the conditions of the road: a tire rolling fast and straight will become more rigid, while braking or turning a corner will trigger the tire to become softer and increase traction.
