Described by its creators as a “Keurig for plants,” the Grobo hydroponic grow box simplifies indoor growing.
The Grobo is meant to take the guesswork out of growing plants at home, and is equipped with an array of sensors that monitor the plant’s health, control the watering schedule, and alert the owner when the plant is ready to harvest. The Grobo’s system of LED lights can be programmed by a companion app, and the entire unit requires about as much electricity as a ceiling fan.
Could consumers buy ‘living’ fruits, berries and vegetables? They would just be moved from one hydroponic system to another. Posted by Uolevi Kattun on April 25, 2017
