Heartbeat Laser can Identify You from 100s of Feet Away

Heartbeat Laser can Identify You from 100s of Feet Away
Feb-19-20
The US military has developed a laser that can identify you based on the unique pattern of your heartbeat, no facial recognition, no gait detection required.

Dubbed 'Jetson' the infrared laser uses vibrometry to measure the vibrations of a surface which algorithms then translate into patterns that identify your unique cardiac signature, even through clothing.

The technology takes 30 seconds to do a scan which makes it somewhat less useful when people are moving quickly, although cardiac patterns are difficult for a person to alter making it harder to disguise one's identity.
