HeartSense Sends Fetal Heartbeat Audio to iPhone

The HeartSense fetal Doppler device lets users listen to their baby’s heartbeat instantly through their iPhone.Fetal Dopplers detect a fetus’s heartbeat with ultrasound and transmit an audible version to the user. Although versions of the device have been commercially available for some time, the egg-shaped device from iBaby is unique in that it sends the audio to a mobile device for listening or recording. The ability to record the heartbeat makes it possible to share the sound with friends and family.
