HP BioPrinter Helps Fight Drug-Resistant Bacteria
Sep-02-18
The new HP D300e Digital Dispenser BioPrinter from HP could help slow the spread of ‘superbugs.’

The BioPrinter from HP can release small, specific amounts (down to picoliters) of substances that can then be exposed to bacteria and the effects studied via additional devices. According to the team, the HP D300e Digital Dispenser allows for the first-time testing of new antibiotics at a local level, and will speed the testing and development of new antibiotics that can defeat resistant bacteria.
