Invisible LifePaint Glows in Headlight Beams

Invisible LifePaint Glows in Headlight Beams
Mar-30-15
Developed with bicycling safety in mind, Volvo's LifePaint will glow brightly in a car's headlights to increase cyclist visibility.

The water-based, washable "paint" can be sprayed onto a range of materials and objects, including bikes, helmets, and clothing, with each application lasting about ten days. According to the company, the paint is transparent, and will not change the original color of the object during the day. However, at night the paint will reflect light and glow a bright white when hit by headlights, significantly improving visibility.
