Jyrobike Lets You Learn to Ride in a Day

Jyrobike Lets You Learn to Ride in a Day
Jun-10-14
The self-balancing Jyrobike makes learning to ride a bike a snap, enabling children to enjoy the fun of riding within a single afternoon.

Already surpassing its funding goal on Kickstarter, the Jyrobike's front wheel is equipped with a motor-driven flywheel that keeps the bike upright even when ridden at very slow speeds. As the rider's biking skills improve, the flywheel's amount of assistance can be adjusted accordingly, moving between 1550 revolutions per minute to zero. And once the child has mastered riding the bike, its flywheel can be completely removed.

The developers are offering both complete Jyrobikes as well as the control hub alone, which can be fitted onto an existing bike.
