Leap Captures Images Inside Arteries

Leap Captures Images Inside Arteries
Oct-12-18
The Leap camera from Cambridge Consultants relies on chip-on-a-tip technology to image inside veins and arteries.

The Leap camera offers a 400 x 400-pixel image capability, capturing the images from the distal end of the endoscope. However, the Cambridge Consultants team believes that image can be combined with the company’s ‘super-resolution’ processing technique, which uses deep learning to raise the resolution to up to 1600 x 1600 pixels. The Leap system is also affordable enough to disposable, which increases patient safety, and can be used in conjunction with existing technologies.
