The Meco'Press makes sturdy, construction worthy bricks out of ordinary mud.

Created by Meco'Concept, the hydraulic press uses mud mixed with a binder, such as lime, to create as many as 120 bricks per hour. The resulting brick, known as a BTC, (une brique en terre compressée), can be used to build structures up to two stories tall.

The press is lightweight, easy to maintain, and, since it can use 80% of earth's soils, utilizes mostly materials found directly on the building site.
