LG's Future of Foldable Phones

LG has filed patents for two different smartphone designs that could change the way people interact with the devices. One patent involves a phone that opens up to the size of a tablet, but folds to function as a more standard sized phone. The other design is similar, and features a sliding back panel that can be moved to the side to show notifications such as time and date.
