LG CLOi SuitBot Gives Workers a Boost

LG CLOi SuitBot Gives Workers a Boost
Dec-27-18
The updated CLOi SuitBot from LG offers a streamlined version of the company’s assistive exoskeleton.

The new SuitBot from LG differs from the original design by eliminating the full-length leg supports, relying instead on a dual-strap abdomen mechanism and a pair of straps that fasten around the thigh. The SuitBot support system will activate automatically when the wearer bends at a 65-degree angle, increasing the wearer’s flexibility with a 50-degree extension and 90-degree flexion of the waist. The SuitBot can operate for four hours on a one-hour full charge, supporting the lower body to reduce stress and strain while lifting and bending.
