The LG Mosquito Away TV invention helps to repel mosquitoes with ultrasound.

Created by the Indian branch of LG Electronics Inc., the Mosquito Away TV will emit ultrasonic waves that repel mosquitos while remaining inaudible to humans. The system will work even when the television is turned off, and offers an alternative to toxic chemicals—though the company did point out that the Mosquito Away TV is not meant as the sole source of protection.

This same technology has also been used by LG in washing machines and air conditioners.

Sound funny if it's true - for the places without electricity - it is useless. And, most of the rural Africa and other places where is malaria, there is no power source. Solution is cheap solar pannel and ultrasound repeller. Everywhere..dropped from the plane. Maybe with small parachutte.

What about it's effect on human and pets since emissions are nonstop. Will the protection cover other rooms that do not have the TV installed?

It is very interesting! A lot of people in the world particularly Africans will be interested in this innovation considering that TV viewing is everyday affair. However, it is important to let everyone know the health implications.
When will it be marketed in Nigeria?

Before you buy any TV any size, please try to do your homework and a bit of research will save you lots of Money in the long run. Personally I highly recommend for everyone to take a close look at Ridaex TV Because .This one is the best LED TV if you don’t want to exceed your budget. Having a massive screen, awesome performance, excellent wireless connectivity and ease of setup, it’s like a dream. However, it doesn’t lag and looks amazing
