The LifeBot telemedicine device is designed to handle tough environments, bringing telepresence technology to hazardous situations.Created as an all-in-one telemedicine center, the portable, 15-pound device can monitor various vitals, such as blood pressure, heart rate and body temperature, and includes ECG and ultrasound capabilities. The data it gathers can be sent in real time to remote emergency personnel, which, when combined with the live audio and video connection, allows on-site medical personnel to communicate and confer with other medical units when additional information is needed.
