Marine Skin Studies Animals in Comfort
Apr-06-18
A flexible Marine Skin could keep marine animals more comfortable while they are being studied in the wild.

Developed by a team from King Abdullah University, the skin is made up of a flexible silicon substrate that can be twisted and subjected to great pressure without damage. The device can be applied to the shell or skin of the sea creature, where it will collect data about the sea environment as the animal goes about its routine, unencumbered by the sensors.
