Mind Med App Eases ADHD Through Gameplay

Mind Med App Eases ADHD Through Gameplay
Sep-26-13
The Mind Med app offers a drug-free way to help manage ADHD by training users to improve their focus through gameplay.

Developed by the Mind Med startup, the app features specially designed exercises that train the user’s cognitive abilities used in learning, such as motivation, working memory and decision making. The app works by offering a simple game that requires the user to recognize shapes as they change along a specific set of rules. The rules change with each level, which trains the player to remember the rules while also identifying each shape-change.

Although the app was designed for children and adults with ADHD, the developers claim it can also be used by anyone seeking to improve mental performance.
