Modified 3M Littmann 3200 Detects Heart Disease
Mar-24-19
The modified 3M Littmann 3200 stethoscope can gather both ECG and PCG data to offer early diagnosis of cardiac issues.

The Littmann 3200 off-the-shelf stethoscope was modified by a team from Telecomunicacoes and Polytechnic Institute of Setubal with custom and 3D-printed hardware and electrodes on top of the diaphragm. In addition to recording ECG and PCG info, the modified stethoscope can also use machine learning to analyze the date for signs of heart disease.
