Modular Housing Pods Made from Recycled Plastic

Jan-06-19 Made from recycled plastic, the new modular pods from Above All C6(n) could be used for temporary or emergency housing.

The new pods are made mostly from single-use plastic derived from plastic water bottles and can be packed flat for transport and assembled on site. Boasting a modular and scalable design, each unit can be attached side-by-side or even stacked to form multiple floors suitable for large groups, and solar power, a bio-toilet and a water supply will also be integrated into the units. And although the portable little modules can have wide-ranging applications, from emergency housing to festival tents, the team believes the main advantage to the pod design “… is the fact that it provides a permanent use for single-use plastic."
