The modular smartphone case from nexpaq lets users customize their phones on the fly by attaching physical modules to the case itself.
The case features its own built-in battery pack to power the modules, and can work with both iOS and Android phones. The module collection currently includes 12 different units, including an amplified speaker, card reader, laser pointer and breathalyzer. The modules are all under $30 (most are under $20) and offer an inexpensive way to add new functions to the phone as needed.
The nexpaq team has already exceeded their funding goal on Kickstarter.
