Moment Wristband Communicates with Vibrations

Moment Wristband Communicates with Vibrations
Aug-23-16
The vibrating Moment wristband from Somatic Labs offers information via haptic feedback and ‘vibrotactile shapes.’

The Moment is equipped with a small motor that enables it to vibrate in very precise patterns, which can be used to deliver navigation information. These patterns, which the team calls vibrotactile shapes, can also be personalized, alerting the wearer to incoming calls and messages. A custom timer option can be set to a precise rhythm count, and the Moment also includes a silent alarm.
