Moosy 32 eNose Sniffs Out Colon Disease
Dec-31-17
The Moosy 32 eNose can detect colon-related diseases in only three minutes.

Developed by the La Fe Health Investigation Institute in Spain, the Moosy 32 eNose prototype is equipped with an array of sensors able to detect the biomarkers for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis in a patient’s stool sample, without the need for invasive tests. The electronic nose delivers results in minutes and with almost 90 percent accuracy, offering a new way to detect and monitor the evolution of the disease.
