MRegen Heals Muscles with Magnets

Jan-25-19 The innovative MRegen device from Quantum TX uses magnetic fields to help speed muscle healing and regeneration.

Still in the prototype phase, the MRegen relies on a uniform electromagnetic field applied to the muscle to stimulate the cells and ‘trick’ them into responding as if they were performing physical activity. This simulated exercise helps speed healing and reduce muscle degradation when the patient would be unable to perform the exercise themselves. The MRegen has already proved successful in two human trials, and could have an application in elderly patients muscle maintenance and athletic performance as well as helping heal injuries.
