Typical snowboards are equipped with bindings to secure the boots, but that extra weight also brings the snowboard’s total weight up to as much as 12 pounds. In contrast, the Mundo Trailboard ditches the bindings favor of a contoured shape that keeps the rider centered, and a foam and stud board that grips the soles of the boots. The board’s narrow base lets the rider to shift their weight to turn and stop like a snowboard, while a rear kick tail even allows for some skateboard-inspired moves.
