Still in the prototype phase, the Nemeio’s backlit mechanical keys are transparent, allowing the e-ink indication to clearly show through. The keyboard communicates with the paired device via Bluetooth, and the keyboard customization can be activated manually (options include QWERTY, AZERTY, Bépo, French, Spanish) or set to automatically adjust to suit specific programs, such as Photoshop. The Nemeio can also save and switch between hundreds of stored preferences with a simple press of a button, and the low-power e-ink display promises a long life between charges.
