The MaskiD system from Neutrogena offers customized 3D-printed masks for a personalized skin care treatment.
The MaskID system works with Neutrogena’s smartphone-mounted SkinScanner and companion Skin360 app. A 3D digital map of the user’s face is created via a smartphone selfie, while the SkinScanner system determines factors such as wrinkles and moisture levels. That information is then sent to a server and used by Neutrogena to create 3D-printed sheet masks with skincare ingredients specifically designed for the individual.
