Designed with apartment and short term renters in mind, the NoiseAware system relies on a network of small decibel sensors that plug into a standard wall outlet. Once in place, the sensors detect loud sounds, differentiating between an accidental loud noise and a true disturbance. When sustained disturbing noise is detected, the NoiseAware will send a notification to the landlord, who can also track noise patterns over time.
