Dec-20-18 The Omron HeartGuide is the first smartwatch able to measure blood pressure directly from the wrist.

The HeartGuide watch collects blood pressure data through its band, which also functions as a blood pressure cuff—equipped with valves and pumps as small as a grain of rice. The cuff can be inflated on demand, measuring blood pressure and transmitting the data to a companion app. As well as providing clinical-level blood pressure readings, the HeartGuide can also track sleep patterns.
