One Handed Bike Brake

Aug-16-11 The dual-cable Duplex lever for bicycles will allow riders with one hand to control the front and rear brakes on mountain and cyclocross bikes.

Originally designed by Paul Component Engineering for bicycle polo players, the lever can be adjusted to engage both brakes at the same time or one a bit after the other. The Duplex lever can be used with most styles of rim brakes as well as mechanical disc brakes, although it is not yet available for hydraulics, and it can be placed on the left or right side of the handlebar.
