The Orcam MyEye attaches to the user’s glasses to provide visual assistance, such as reading text or identifying faces.
Designed for people with visual impairments, the OrCam MyEye device attaches to the earpiece of the user's own glasses. Once in place, the unit can read aloud any printed text, including text on a smartphone screen, and features a facial recognition system that will announce the name of a known person if they come into the camera’s view. The OrCan can be activated by simple gestures, so the interaction remains subtle, and offers the visually impaired a new level of independence.
