Ori Systems Robotic Furniture Transforms Rooms

Ori Systems Robotic Furniture Transforms Rooms
Jun-08-17
The robotic furniture from Ori Systems can transform a living space at the push of a button.

Currently being installed in a number of luxury apartments, the Ori system was created by Yves Béhar and the MIT Media Lab as a way to make the most of small spaces. The final, commercialized version of the “apartment-in-a-box” features two models, with either a full or a queen sized bed. Once assembled on site the Ori units can be controlled via a manual interface, voice, or the companion app, shifting the room’s use from sleep to dining to an office space with ease and grace.
