Oura Rings Help Detect Virus

Oura Rings Help Detect Virus
Mar-24-20
The CODIV-19 virus can incubate in your body for as long as two weeks before you have any symptoms, potentially infecting people you are in contact with during that time.

The Oura Ring can measure your vitals such as heart rate and body temperature and it is now being used in a study to see if it can detect the COVID-19 virus before you exhibit symptoms.

2,000 rings have been distributed to the UCSF Medical Center and the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital to evaluate their effectiveness.

If it works, people can self-isolate much sooner, potentially slowing the spread of the disease.

How soon can the first suspicions from any possible viral interaction be noticed from human body and secretions? As people touch items, face and body by hand, a ring or phone might repeatedly analyze perspiration from fingers.
